To create an editorial look and feel for the website I designed 5 different pop-over styles which translated directly to the printed book. The designs were created to take advantage of the different type of content available to us and worked in producing a concise narrative.

What are these photos about?

Your Brilliant Britain as a competition aimed at people enthused with British spirit. Users could submit photos or text highlighting the best of British. The system worked seamlessly allowing over 800 entries within the first 2 weeks. Each YBB post was tagged with a location and populated on the interactive map.

With curated content and YBB submissions shown visually on the map users could explore Britain geographically and find interesting stuff in their local area.
