An interactive prospectus for international Design and Media students with news, events and social media integration.

The LCC was a unique university. It had a rich and storied history of traditional design however it still wanted to attract students interested in modern disciplines. After a successful pitch to the deans of the university around the idea of an interactive prospectus and what type of content we could offer the project was given the go ahead.

Due to the amount of stake holders that had to be involved I designed a user experience architecture document which was seen as the go-to resource for information about the project. It included content behaviour diagrams, the complete information architecture, individual screen wireframes and layouts and visual design mockups.

To show off the university we recruited a professional photographer to capture life of the university. We requested he take panoramic photos of the interesting spaces. The design of the content was based around exemplifying the university so that international students could get a better idea about what the campus was like. The content wasn't constrained to the phone width but instead expanded beyond, users would scroll right to find new content and as they did the panoramic parallaxed underneath to give a pseudo 3D feel.

If the user saw an image they were interested in they could tap the ever present 'Discover' button and hide the interface, allowing the panoramic photo to be explored freely.
